Presentation in Caleb Fellowship

This was what JC wrote about the presentation which lasted for about an hour.

**************志文茶聚*******************

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thanks for all of your dedication, participation, time, effort, patience and co-operation in servicing the Presentation for Truthfulness of Bible together last Friday in Caleb Fellowship... :-)

Again, sorry for any inconvenience due to my lateness and long rehearsal last Wednesday night to share with you the plan and plot for this presentation... But, you all did a great job in working together as a team although I didn't have a complete plan and plot for this presentation... Really appreciated... ;-)

I really hope you all enjoyed the process of this Presentation and our servicing in God... I have learned a lot from Bible and from all of you and enjoyed every moment when we were servicing together as the process of this Presentation... :-))

Many thanks to Karen who helped me to ask for B&S help in servicing the Presentation together, co-ordinate B&S schedule and work with B&S in writing part of the plot for this presentation - especially while I didn't feel well and I was very busy due to office work... (role: 谭玉珊小姐)

Many thanks to Stephen who prepared a lot of scripts and Bible verses for each sub-topic of this Presentation and presented them firmly in the Presentation...
(role: 吾酸软博士)

Many thanks to Natalie who was very patient while developing the scripts since the material was not finalized until late last week and presented the sub-topic lively... (role: Miss NatNat Jones)

Many thanks to Dale who remember all details of Israel history and interacted with Stephen smoothly to present this sub-topic in a full picture..(role: 梁应承博士)

Many thanks to Dominic who took a lot of effort in researching the background of this sub-topic deeply and presented this in details - especially he needs to practice and play the badminton tournament very soon... (role: 霍银先生)

Many thanks to Mary who served with us together in this Presentation - especially we asked for her help late and she was willing to participate it...
(role: 广告人员)

+ Joseph Chan: (role: 陈志文主持)

Finally, many thanks for Jeanie Jie who gave us an opportunity to serve God in Caleb Fellowship, provided us a lot of guidance and prepared a lot of Presentation material for our reference and scripts... :-)))

May God bless our bonding in the body of Christ as well as all Cellgroups and Committee for Luke Fellowship this year...

So busy

This week is a super busy week. I totally attended 4 meetings in the evenings. After every meeting, there must be some paper work to follow. Tons of emails to read and reply. I noticed that I was very absent-minded this week as there are so much things in my mind. So I end up with poor sleeping quality and have heavy head these 2 days. JC needs to coordinate a program in Caleb Fellowship. I know he is very busy at work, so I can't help giving him a hand.

How about next week? Still busy. Yes, yes. As we need to spend sometime to talk about the presentation and set an evening to do rehearsal. Then the program itself is on Friday evening.

Lately I notice that quite a few Lukies need to go out of town for business trips. That looks like a trend for some of us. It seldoms happens before. Does the nature of work change to be more gobally now!

History of Luke Fellowship

It has never happened in the history of Luke Fellowship that the caring dept contains 5 b&s. Pretty amazing!!!

It has never happened in the history of Luke Fellowship that the committee contains 11 staff. Very unbelievable!!!

It has never happened that a sis has been re-elected as a chairperson for the 2nd year. Absoultely the 1st time!!!

I remember a pastor has said many years ago, that a brother (he meant male) should lead a fellowship committee (he seems a bit "old traditional thinking").
There are so many reasons that some b&s cannot serve:

- some have not got enough attendance to be elected?
- some do not want to commit?
- some do not have the abilities (they think) to serve?
- some do not want to serve, but enjoy to be served?
+ many other reasons ...
